DEPARTMENT OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION
The department of Physical Education of our college is enriched with all necessary infrastructure for games and sports. Highly talented sports women are offered seats in our college through sports quota admission.
Students are given special coaching in Table Tennis, Chess, Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Volley Ball, Hand Ball, Shuttle Badminton, Basket Ball, Hockey, Foot Ball, Ball Badminton, Judo, Taekwondo, Wrestling and Athletics. Best performers in each event will be selected to participate in the Inter-Collegiate sports and games organised in various colleges affiliated to Periyar University, Salem. Players who performing well in the Inter-Collegiate Tournaments will be selected for Periyar University team to participate in All-India South Zone Inter University Tournament.

Annual Sports Day will be celebrated every year. Intramural matches will be conducted among the students and prizes will be distributed on Annual Sports Day. More than 3000 students get competitive experience from the competition organized by the Physical Education Department.
Golden Jubilee Celebration
On behalf of 50th year celebration, “பெண் சமுதாய விழிப்புணர்வு” Marathon Race was conducted for our college students on 04.02.2019. Namakkal District Sub Collector Thiru. Kranthi Kumar Pati hoisted the flag and started the Marathon Race.
